Gallup reports that 77% of employees worldwide are disengaged — at an estimated cost of $8.8 trillion annually from productivity, retention, and performance losses. The good news: this is a solvable problem. And the solution is older than any management framework you've tried.

With the remote-hybrid revolution, the landscape has changed, but the human needs haven't.

Human beings evolved from small, interdependent groups and the science is clear: when teams feel genuinely connected, psychological safety rises, collaboration deepens, and performance follows.

Travis creates those conditions.

... through the same primal practices humans have used to bond for a hundred thousand years, made accessible for any team in any room.

In an entertaining and heart-warming format for all.

The Keynote

"Come Alive: The Ancient Fix for Modern Disconnection"

Travis combines his story as an MIT-trained urban planner, Eco-community pioneer, and Hurricane Helene survivor with hard data on the belonging crisis and a practical framework for rebuilding trust in any team. Not a lecture. An experience. Travis  tells stories and the science of belonging, and guides your audience through exercises that create real, felt connection in the room. They come as a group and leave as a tribe.

Ideal for company all-hands, leadership summits, HR conferences, annual retreats.

The Workshop

"Radical Belonging at Work"

Time Commitment : 1-4 hours

Half day. Skills-based. Fun, out of the box, informative. Weaving together science-backed belonging tactics with authentic communication and stress management skills. Based on the Biology of Belonging and Compassionate Communication, delivered with the directness and embodied energy that makes it stick. Practical tools your team can use Monday morning.

Ideal for remote/hybrid teams, newly formed cross-functional groups, post-merger integration, organizations rebuilding after layoffs or high turnover.

The Immersion

"Tribal Belonging" for Retreats

Full day or multi-day. For teams of 10–100. Travis guides your group through radical honesty exercises, authentic relating practices, group silence, song, and storytelling — the pre-verbal technologies of human bonding that no team-building ropes course has ever touched. Participants leave with new language for their emotional lives, new trust in their colleagues, and a felt sense of what it means to actually work in a tribe.

Ideal for leadership teams, newly formed cross-functional groups, post-merger integration, organizations rebuilding after layoffs or high turnover.

Travis has facilitated for Shell USA, the City of Boston, CityAge, and organizations across the corporate, non-profit, and education sectors. He is an MIT-trained systems thinker, a Fortune 500 sustainability strategist, a folk singer, and a Hurricane Helene survivor — someone who has sat in the boardroom and the ceremony circle, and knows what genuine belonging requires in both. He does not just talk about connection. He creates it, live, in the room.

Reared among the Boy Scouts, theater arts, and Native American powwows, Travis was steeped in traditions of teamwork, music, and ceremony from an early age. Drawing from this cross-cultural foundation and his career as a global disruptor in sustainability, Travis brings over two decades of international experience as a community builder, educator, and musician — harnessing the power of belonging for deep transformation.

Travis incorporates principles of Belonging, Authenticity, and Stress Management into his talks to address the building blocks of human wellness and success. The result? Leaders and teams with greater resiliency and higher energy levels without the burnout.

One experience that can fuel their vitality, potential, and impact on your organization and the world around them. Joyfully empowering. Deeply energizing.
